Cause Club Event: Do Good IRL for Sydney’s Shelter Animals

To celebrate the launch of Cause Club, our new on-the-ground low-pressure impact program, we’re partnering with Sydney Dogs & Cats Home for an afternoon of upcycling, connection, and real impact on the lives of shelter animals.

The heart of it: we’ll be taking old t-shirts and jeans (the ones you’ve been meaning to donate) and turning them into enrichment toys for rescue animals. We’ll be crafting items such as braided chew ropes, tug toys, and playmates, all made entirely by hand.

Heads up: You don’t need to be crafty or extroverted! All you need to do is show up with some old clothes, cut some fabric, and know that you're making a tangible difference alongside other good people. We're doing community events differently. This is a hands-on way to help a local cause that needs us more than ever.

Our group mission is to:

🦴 Make & donate 100 upcycled enrichment toys out of old clothes
📦 Donate 50kgs of dog food (thanks to Scratch!)
🧠 Learn real ways to support animals from someone on the inside
🐶 Pat some rescue dogs, snack and chat

Any old t-shirts or jeans you'd like to repurpose. We’ll sort the rest!
