Presented in partnership with The Cavalcade of History and Fashion, this refined afternoon brings together a fashion show, historical storytelling and a traditional high tea within our heritage-listed Art Deco building.
Discover the glamour of 1930s evening gowns and accessories as history is brought to life through beautifully curated garments and the stories of the women who wore them.
Defined by graceful simplicity, 1930s fashion celebrated the natural silhouette- gowns cut on the bias to softly follow the body, creating a slender, elongated line with gently flared skirts and softly waved hair. The result was effortless sophistication and timeless femininity.
A wonderful experience for those with an interest in fashion, history, or simply a refined afternoon out - ladies and gentlemen alike.
