CBCC BRAVE Lunchtime Talk - Digital Microsoft
Event description
The BRAVE project is an inspiring initiative aimed at empowering women to embrace their true selves and pursue their dreams fearlessly. This initiative acknowledges both external and internal barriers, the project seeks to create a supportive community where women can thrive and support each other in their personal and professional endeavors. The focus on breaking down systematic barriers like the glass ceiling and gender pay inequalities, as well as challenging societal expectations and internalized norms, demonstrates a holistic approach to empowerment. Encouraging women to be authentic and true to themselves is essential for fostering confidence and self-belief, which are crucial for success in any endeavor. By providing resources, support, and a platform for women to share their stories and experiences, the BRAVE project has the potential to make a significant impact on individual lives and the broader community. It's commendable to see organizations like the CBCC dedicating themselves to advancing women's interests and creating positive change.
The Brave Project, spearheaded by The Canterbury of Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC), is a community-driven initiative providing essential wrap-around skills and opportunities aimed at South-West and Western Sydney CALD women who want to return to work. In this Workshop, you'll be covering social media. Social media is vital for global connectivity, enabling communication, networking, brand promotion, customer engagement, market research, and cultural exchange, while also serving as a platform for information sharing, entertainment, and education.
