About this event

Australia's bioeconomy is growing fast - but the businesses driving it are often working in isolation, tackling the same barriers without knowing who else is in the room.

BioFutures Connect is a targeted session for Industry Growth Program participants and other innovators working across renewable fuels and bio-fertilisers.

Hosted by the Food and Agribusiness Network (FAN) via Cluster Connect, this session brings together a curated group to build a clearer, shared picture of the sector and start identifying where collaboration can accelerate growth.

This webinar will cover:

  • Who's working in the space — and where they sit across the value chain (feedstock, processing, technology, end product)

  • Common barriers to scale — feedstock supply, infrastructure, capital and regulation, and market readiness

  • The emerging policy and funding landscape, including ARENA's current low-carbon fuel programs

  • Why collaboration matters across the bioeconomy, and where it's currently breaking down, with insights from AgriFutures Circular Economy Project

  • The opportunity to stay connected through a broader BioSolutions network beyond this session

Who should attend:
Founders and teams working in renewable fuels, biogas, biofertilisers, circular economy and bioenergy - particularly those at pilot, commercialisation or scaling stage, and anyone exploring how their business fits into Australia's wider industrial and regional transition landscape.
