CDWI Annual Research Spotlight - Unfinished Business: Equality at Work?

QUT Centre for Decent Work presents a new signature event where leading Australian scholars will challenge and debate contemporary and persistent issues shaping work, workers, and the industries they operate in.

In a rapidly changing world where the principles of gender equality, diversity, and inclusion are increasingly being questioned, we invite three leading scholars to explore what workplace equality means for Australian organisations today. This year, to mark Equal Pay Day, we extend the discussion to ask: Is there such a thing as equality at work?

Speakers will address this through different lenses, including gender, intersectionality, Indigeneity and the experiences of rural, FIFO, and migrant workers via individual presentations.

Speakers include:

•  Associate Professor Leonora Risse, QUT CDWI

•  Associate Professor Sharlene Leroy-Dyer, University of Queensland

•  Associate Professor Christina Malatzky, QUT CDWI & QUT Centre for Justice

Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion, and Q&A moderated by former ABC journalist and presenter, Rebecca Levingston.

The event will include light refreshments and parking will be validated.
