Description
This Term 4, Parados is trialling a small, home-based Clay Studio in Cedar Pocket, giving kids the chance to explore clay in a relaxed, creative and hands-on environment.
We'll be making, building, sculpting, experimenting with texture and learning how clay works — while leaving plenty of room for imagination and individual ideas.
You don't need to be "good at art". This is about having a go, getting creative and enjoying the process of making something with your own hands.
LITTLE MAKERS — Ages 5–8
Thursdays, 10:30–11:30am
A playful one-hour session introducing younger children to clay through simple projects, sensory exploration and creative play.
YOUNG MAKERS — Ages 9–14
Thursdays, 11:30am–1:30pm
A longer studio session for older kids to develop clay skills, experiment with different techniques and create more involved individual projects.
THE 4-WEEK TRIAL
This is a drop-off program, with small groups so that each child gets plenty of support, attention and time to create.
You can book individual sessions, so there is no need to commit to the whole four weeks.
We're starting small to see what the Cedar Pocket community enjoys and what we'd like to develop next.
What to bring: clothes that can get messy, a water bottle and your imagination!
Location: Cedar Pocket, Queensland
Places are limited.
