Event description

The event will involve the members of Canberra Seniors Centre and their friends and families.

The educational tour will commence at 1 pm and will provide culture, history and stories of the Ngunawal people of Canberra and region. Accessible sacred sites will be visited and education provided by Thunderstone Aboriginal Cultural Services.

The group will return to Canberra Seniors Centre for a BBQ style meal (5 pm) and the sharing of stories about what it means to be Australian.

From 6 pm to 10 pm there will be music, singing and dancing with a focus on Australian music.
