Event description

Wattle Day is a celebration of the iconic group of plants that are the Wattles or Acacias. From small shrubs to giant trees, wattles are extremely diverse provide us with so much. To celebrate, join Belinda for some fun wattle facts, a wattle quiz and a look at the characteristics of wattles that makes them so special in the beautiful setting of the Blackburn Lake Sanctuary.
