About the Event:

The First Nations Women's Gathering in Perth is a powerful opportunity to celebrate Indigenous womens' leadership and resilience. This special event, hosted by Noongar CCI and First Nations X, is dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, welcoming guests from across the globe, including First Nations delegations from Canada, America, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Australia. It is a space to honor and amplify the voices, achievements, and cultural practices of First Nations women, with a special focus on leadership and business.

Inspiring Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women, along with the international delegations, will share their stories and wisdom in a powerful Yarning Circle.

The Gathering will also celebrate regional women who have successfully completed the 2024 HORIZON Program, offering a platform for commerce, cultural performances, and connection. Attendees can expect a rich blend of traditional weaving, Indigenous dance, and collaborative arts.

This event promises to be an empowering celebration of culture, connection, and leadership for First Nations women, as well as an opportunity for all attendees to support and learn from the rich wisdom within these communities.
