    Join us with family and friends to celebrate Gross National Happiness Day just as they do in Bhutan! Enjoy a taste of Bhutanese culture and the Bhutanese meaning of happiness.

    Gross National Happiness Day celebrates the GNH Centre’s commitments to societal change, nurturing human values, and promoting community relationships through food, dance, meditation, and ceremonial practices like the lighting of butter lamps that symbolise light, impermanence, and interdependence.

    Tickets are $25 each or we invite you to pay what you can.

    Schedule of Events:

    5:00pm - Momo-Making Session: Roll up your sleeves for a fun cooking adventure!
    6:00pm – Welcome drinks: Said momos, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks
    6:30pm - Butter Lamps: Bhutanese prayers and lamp lighting ceremony
    6:45pm - Happiness Exploration: Dive into the inspiring concept of Gross National Happiness
    7:00pm - Guest Speakers: Hear about happiness and Bhutan. What's it all about really?
    7:30pm - Group Meditation: Spend a moment in community considering your relationship with happiness
    7:40pm - Bhutanese Dance Circle: Bring your dancing shoes!
    8:00pm - Event Ends: Leave with a heart full of happiness.
