Celebrating Israel - Bound by History

The event has been held annually since 2005 on 29 November to mark the vote by UN General Assembly on 29 November 1947, for Resolution 181, The Partition Plan, calling for the establishment of a Jewish State alongside an Arab State, leading to the establishment of the State of Israel.

This year's topic "Bound By History" will focus on the ongoing relationship between Australia and Israel throughout our combined history.
