Celebrating Women and Nature Growing Together: World Environment Day 2025 Brookvale Farm
Event description
🌳 Plant trees. Share stories. Grow connection. 🌳
Celebrate the powerful relationship between women and nature at this immersive day of tree planting, storytelling, and environmental action.
Whether you're a nature newcomer or lifelong environmentalist, this event is for you. Together we’ll plant over 500 native trees, honour the Women in Nature programs, and create space for healing, connection, and community.
Join us for an immersive community tree planting day brought to you by Landcare ACT and Brookvale Farm, supported by the ACT and Commonwealth Government.
This culminative event hopes to provide a time and place to acknowledge the timeless significance of the relationship between Women and Nature—celebrating our shared roots, the powerful role women play as caretakers and creators, and the healing benefits of connecting and engaging with environmental stewardship.
As we plant trees, we plant hope. This event is open to females across all cultures, ages, and backgrounds, to come together as a community in a shared space of storytelling and stewardship in honour of the achievements of ACT’s Women in Nature Programs.
