Celebrating Women in Conservation breakfast 2027
Description

Bush Heritage Australia and Trust for Nature (VIC) warmly invite you to join us in Melbourne or online for our annual Celebrating Women in Conservation Breakfast, now in its 16th year!
Hear from our fabulous keynote speaker, ABC journalist and presenter Dr Ann Jones, on what nature tells us about women's leadership and the importance of storytelling for nature protection.
Hosted by award-winning conservation biologist and science communicator Tiahni Adamson, and featuring Bush Heritage and Trust for Nature CEOs Rachel Lowry and Corinne Proske, this inspiring event is guaranteed to fill your cup!
Ahead of International Women's Day, we're excited to bring the conservation sector and its allies together to share this great event with you. We hope to see you in Melbourne or online!
Dr Ann Jones is a journalist and presenter with the ABC who has become known as 'the nature nerd', a crown she wears with pride and enthusiasm.
A network presenter with ABC Radio National, Ann can be heard across Australia, the Asia Pacific and also on CBC (Canada) showcasing the best of nature, adventure and scientific research on What the Duck!?, on children's podcast Noisy by Nature and the award-winning 'How Deadly / How Extra' series for ABC Science.
Ann also brings her enthusiasm to television screens, presenting documentaries for ABC Catalyst and programs like Meet the Penguins, Dr Ann’s Secret Lives wildlife series, and undertaking live broadcasting events like Southern Ocean Live for the ABC and Northern Pictures.
Above all, Ann seeks to connect nature with people and people with nature, because, she says, 'without each other, we'll all be dust.'
Note, Keynote presentation will commence at approx 9.10am AEDT
* Dr Ann Jones appears by arrangement with Claxton Speakers International.
