Join the celebration of World Fair Trade day with like-minded folk over a glass of wine. We are privileged to have Chandra Kachipati from Sana Hasktakala in Nepal, currently in Australia. Chandra will be speaking about his experience as Executive Director with Sana Hastakala over the past 30 years, a leading fair trade organisation in Nepal. He will also provide insight into the impact of Covid on fair trade enterprises in Nepal and how we can work together to Build Back Fairer post-Covid.

In addition to his role of Executive Director at Sana Hasktakala, Chandra was also a Lecturer of Economics and Foreign Trade at Navadurga in Nepal. Chandra was the Founding treasurer then Secretary, Vice-Chair, Chair and currently Immediate past Chair of the Fair Trade Group Nepal, the national network of Fair Trade Organizations in Nepal. Representing Sana Hastakala, Chandra served as President of the World Fair Trade Organisation Asia from 2008 to 2010.
Chandra was the Founding treasurer then Secretary, Vice-Chair, Chair and currently Immediate past Chair of the Fair Trade Group Nepal, the national network of Fair Trade Organizations in Nepal. Representing Sana Hastakala, Chandra served as President of the World Fair Trade Organization Asia from 2008 to 2010.
