World Science Day Celebration

Join SAAA and SLCA members for a special World Science Day celebration in the heart of nature. Begin with a warm welcome and a guided walk through the rainforest, uncovering the secrets of its vibrant ecosystem. Continue exploration at the Rainforest Discovery Centre, where science comes alive through interactive exhibits. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments while children participate in fun, science-related activities.

This is a public event primarily organised for members of the Slovenian Australian Academic Association (SAAA) and the Slovenian Language and Culture Association Queensland Inc. (SLCA). This is a free event, however venue capacity is limited, so please book a ticket!

10:00 AM: Gathering and Welcomes 

10:30 AM: Guided walk through the rainforest

12.00 AM: Self-guided Rainforest Discovery Centre visit

12:30 PM: Refreshments and additional science-related activities for children
