Connection, Celebration and Living the Third Permaculture Ethic - Fair Share
Event description
Permaculture Blue Mountains Network is eXciTeD to announce our last official event for 2024 ..
Connection, Celebration, and Living the Third Permaculture Ethic - Fair Share
At our November meeting, we explored the idea of “redistributing surplus to our needs,” a core principle of permaculture. Together, we imagined ways to honour this ethic while fostering connection and joy.
One member suggested we take time to celebrate our successes from the year .. sharing our wins, reflecting on the challenges we faced, and acknowledging the ways we overcame them. The idea resonated deeply with the group, sparking excitement and inspiration.
Another member proposed a beautiful extension of this permaculture ethic .. a community gifting circle!
The idea is simple, bring along anything you no longer need or wish to share - be it clothing, baked goods, household items, tools, homegrown produce, a song, a poem, or something handmade. There’s no “right” or “wrong”; it’s all about sharing from the heart and redistributing abundance.
Let’s come together to connect, celebrate, and embody Fair Share in action!
