Cell Phone Photography Workshop

Whether you have an iPhone or an Android, you will learn how simple it is to create stunning photographs using only your cell phone. Learn how to benefit from the immediacy of this powerful tool to document your everyday life using the technology of your native camera or to create impressive works of art.

See how quick and easy it can be to create compelling images using only your mobile device. The core of this workshop will be learning how to use “Snapseed,” one of the best photo processing applications available.

You will come away with an understanding of some of the basic elements of photography and the ease to use your cell phone as your camera of choice.

PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING YOUR CELL PHONE FULLY CHARGED and your charging cord in case your battery runs low.

Please have the Snapseed app downloaded to your phone prior to the workshop. It’s free.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This class is available to take In Person at our Montclair NJ Shop, or online Virtually on Zoom. 

IN PERSON CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class In Person, then they are taking the class at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. 

VIRTUAL CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class Virtually, they will receive a Zoom link. 

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION

Participants must be at least 12 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

CLASS PARTICIPATION

This is a Live event. In Person and Virtual Class Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. If an In Person Participant is unable to attend the class in Person they can request to join the class Virtually and we can arrange accommodations. If a Virtual Class participant is unable to log onto a class on the day and time it is scheduled then it is the participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event for accommodations. If a participant is unable to join and needs to reschedule, there is a rescheduling fee that will be billed to the participant. If we as the organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.

CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING

Participants who purchase a class on our Class Schedule are eligible for a refund if the request is submitted 7 days in advance of the class date. If the Participant booked a Virtual Class they are eligible for a reschedule. Participants who submit a request 6 days or less in advance are eligible for a 50% refund or an opportunity to apply credit to a future class. There is a $25 rescheduling fee to reschedule a class.
