Event description

We invite you to join us for the return of Cello Yoga at Rhythm Wellness, with Melbourne-based cellist and soundscape artist, Conrad Hamill.

After an incredibly moving experience in 2023, we are so excited to offer this unmissable event again this September.

Come along and discover how the melodies of a live cello concert can bring a profound new dimension to your yoga practice, enhancing your full body awareness, and deepening your sense of relaxation.

During the 90-minute journey, you will move through a gentle yoga flow, pranayama and meditation, releasing tension and promoting deep nurturance for your nervous system. As you are serenaded by the soothing sounds of live cello music that has been uniquely composed for meditation, your body progressively softens and becomes fully immersed in the present moment. With each note, you will be guided to move with intention, breath by breath, finding a deep connection to your inner peace and stillness. There will be time and space for you to move at your own pace and fully embody the practice.

We would love for you to please stay around following the session for light refreshments; non-alcoholic drinks, and platters, inclusive in your ticket price.

We look forward to sharing this very special experience with you!

About Conrad:

Conrad Hamill has been a sought after multi-instrumentalist since graduating the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2015. He has performed in renowned venues including the State Theatre, Hamer Hall and the Sydney Opera House across classical, contemporary and new-age genres. He is known for bridging genres, styles and exploring new and experimental techniques for music production and live performance. Since the pandemic disrupted concert schedules across the globe, Conrad found new stages for his work in yoga studios, art festivals and retreats, which allowed him to explore bringing new music to new spaces with new audiences. He is particularly driven by the music, mind and movement connection which provided the foundations for his TedX Sydney presentation in 2020 and has since performed cello yogas across studios in Bryon Bay, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, as well as many concerts of different genres in environments where people can lay, sit or move freely.
