Celtic Animist Sigil Magic
Event description
Rooted in a Celtic polytheist worldview and animist practice, this 2-hour class will explore what sigil magic can look like when we approach the practice from a spirit-led framework. We will discuss the origins of sigil magics and look at some historical examples of sigil weaving using Ogham, Runes, Celtic scripts, and other visual symbolic languages. We will also cover three levels of action in sigil weaving, working with sigils as shaped engines for directing power, and sigils as ritual gestures. This class includes a hands-on practice to build and charge a magical sigil.
