Centennial Parklands Foundation Corporate Volunteering Conservation and Regeneration Program

Event description

Centennial Parklands Foundation invites you to join its Conservation and Regeneration Program.

Volunteering at Centennial Parklands is a truly special experience, an opportunity for people to give back to the community and experience the joys of working together to achieve a shared goal.

As part of this program, you and your team will be guided by our team of expert Bush Regenerators and Education Officers, helping with important conservation work. You’ll have the opportunity to get out in nature, learn about the Park’s unique wildlife and ecosystems and make a direct impact on their preservation.

As part of your volunteer session, you’ll be provided with tools and gloves so you can get your hands dirty and take part in conservation efforts; removing environmental threats such as weeds and litter. You’ll also be bringing new life to the park, introducing and planting regeneration triggers such as mulch, seedlings, and water.

Our program caters for groups between 15-50, but we gladly welcome larger groups eager to escape the office and ready to make a difference.

Join us on this rewarding conservation journey, where every hand plays a vital role in shaping the health of our precious green spaces. Together, through the power of volunteerism, we have the power to create a real and significant change.

Here is a sample of your typical volunteering day schedule:
