Join Central Tablelands Local Land Services for PROGRAZE®, a practical, hands-on grazing management course designed to help beef cattle and sheep producers improve productivity, profitability and pasture management outcomes.
Delivered on local farms, PROGRAZE® provides participants with the skills and confidence to assess pastures, livestock and feed availability, enabling better grazing decisions throughout the year. The course focuses on understanding the interaction between pasture and livestock, helping producers optimise pasture utilisation, improve groundcover, manage weeds and maintain livestock performance, even during challenging seasonal conditions.
This well-respected course combines theory with practical in-paddock learning and is suitable for producers looking to strengthen their grazing management knowledge and decision-making skills.
Course details:
8 half-day workshops delivered on-farm
Workshops generally held every 4 weeks on Wednesdays
Runs from February 2027 to September 2027, allowing participants to observe and learn through seasonal variations
Practical, hands-on learning with experienced facilitators and fellow producers
Opportunity to apply skills directly to your own farming enterprise
Cost:
$400 + GST ($440 total) per farming enterprise
An unlimited number of people from the same farming enterprise can attend.

Two feed test samples
PROGRAZE® hard-copy participant manual
Access to all eight workshops

Please note: Subject to sufficient participant numbers, we will confirm course commencement and contact registered participants towards the end of the year. Payment will not be required until December 2026.
