After a hiatus, we are excited to gather again once more in celebration of Timorese and local music, arts and culture. All funds raised will go toward supporting water conservation initiatives** in Aileu, Timor-Leste in addition to providing support to our friends at Arte Mambae Rai Husar in their annual sustainable arts exhibition.

**It has become apparent that across many areas, including Aileu, springs and small streams are drying-up as a result of reduced forest cover, erosion and soil compaction and the compounding effects of climate change. The diminishing availability of reliable and clean water supplies for household and agricultural uses is impacting on the health and well-being of the community and inhibiting efforts to grow a greater variety of more nutritious foods. Water conservation initiatives led by PERMATIL will seek to address these growing problems by teaching village leaders and young people water resource management principles and practical ways to conserve water.**

We acknowledge that this event is taking place on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation and we pay our respect to their Elders past present and emerging. Always Was Always Will Be Aboriginal Land.
