Description

Join us for a unique opportunity to explore the Nangak Tambouree Wildlife Sanctuary at La Trobe University in Bundoora. Come and learn more about one of the longest running ecological restoration projects in Australia, and be inspired by the transformation this land underwent. You might even be lucky enough to spot one of the resident emus!

What to expect: 

  • A tour of the Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Meet other teachers passionate about sustainability

  • Enjoy some light refreshments

  • Experience nature journaling, and explore how you could run this activity with your students

Where: Nangak Tambouree Wildlife Sanctuary, La Trobe University, La Trobe Ave, Bundoora (just near the roundabout on Main Drive)

When: Tuesday 13 October, 4:00pm - 6pm (event will be starting at 4:30 sharp so please arrive beforehand to register, enjoy some refreshments and have a chat to someone new!)

Who: Staff of primary and secondary schools that are passionate about incorporating sustainability into their schools

Note: Catered toward schools in the Northern region but schools from other areas are welcome. Non RSS event*
