CERI Guest Entrepreneur | Kath Giles

We are fortunate to have Dr Kath Giles joining us at CERI as our Guest Entrepreneur. 

Dr Giles has a wealth of experience in the healthtech field. She is the CEO/Managing Director at OncoRes Medical, which has developed a handheld device for monitoring the margin tumours during breast cancer surgery. They have raised more than $12 million and received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval last year. 

With entrepreneurial experience in creating medical apps, diagnostics and fitness devices. Dr Giles has worked in partnership with Breast Care WA and the McGrath Foundation, she created an interactive iPhone breast checker, and in 2016, she also co-founded Spark CoLab, a not-for-profit education provider  set up to develop the local medical innovation ecosystem.   

She is also a non-executive director of ASX-listed Sonic Health care - a $17 billion healthcare operating across laboratory medicine, pathology, radiology and primary care medical services in Australasia, Europe, and North America.
