In 2025, we are proud to celebrate a milestone CEW’s 40th anniversary, marking four decades of dedicated advocacy and leadership in empowering women across Australia. Over these 40 years, CEW’s founders, members, and partners have showcased resilience, commitment, and unwavering persistence in progressing gender equality. This black-tie event will celebrate the success stories and transformative impact that have inspired past, present, and future generations.

The evening will include addresses from our CEW Chief Executive Officer, Lisa Annese, and a panel on our theme ‘40 Years of Progress’ with Michele Bullock, Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Belinda Hutchinson, Director of Australian Philanthropic Services and former CEW President, Aruna Sathanapally, CEO and Economic Prosperity and Democracy Program Director, Grattan Institute, Leonora Risse, Economist, moderated by Hannah Wootton, Journalist for Australian Financial Review.
