Step Forward as a Community Safety Leader in Central Victoria

Multicultural Connect Central Victoria (MCCV), in partnership with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) and the Multicultural Emergency Management Partnership (MEMP), is proud to deliver a Bushfire Safety Spokesperson Training program specially designed for multicultural community leaders across Central Victoria.

This unique training recognises the important role trusted community leaders play in keeping their communities safe. Participants will build knowledge, confidence and skills to share clear, culturally relevant bushfire safety messages within their cultural and language networks.

Learn from CFA and emergency management experts, strengthen your bushfire safety knowledge, and support your community to prepare for the upcoming summer fire season. The training will cover bushfire risks, emergency warnings, Fire Danger Period and Total Fire Ban requirements, and practical actions communities can take to stay safe.
