Event description

Your team will have fun while learning pro cooking tips in the OzHarvest kitchen. This is a hands-on class that teaches scrumptious cuisines and includes sample size portions at the end of the session to showcase the nutritious meals your team have created using fresh produce that would otherwise have been wasted! Phenomenal chefs will guide your team, transforming rescued surplus ingredients into restaurant quality meals that are then delivered directly to local disadvantaged communities. A truly unforgettable activity to re-enforce or re-set your team dynamic, learn new skills, practice sustainability and spread a grateful spirit throughout your workplace.

Each guest will take home the awesome digital Cooking for a Cause recipe book, packed with over 25 recipes and zero-waste tips to continue your sustainable flavour journey at home.

Your impact

Calculated by Bain & Co, our social return on investment (SROI) reveals the true impact OzHarvest is making in the community. For every dollar invested into OzHarvest, food rescue returns $6.75 to the community by cutting the costs of food bills for charitable agencies, which allows their precious finances to be directed into specialised core services. Some of the local agencies that we will redistribute your team's cooked meals to include:
