These sessions are perfect for children ages 6-12, but anyone interested in this form of storytelling will enjoy a peek behind the curtain on graphic novel creation.

Each author session will go live at 9:15 AM EDT and be recorded for replay. The presentation recordings will be available on-demand for one week following their upload. Pre-registrants will receive a link to the recordings once they are processed and available on our YouTube channel to rewatch or watch on your own timeline.

Meet the Featured Graphic Novelist:

Frances is the author and illustrator of Ami Moon and the Galactic Peacekeepers. The first book in an irrepressible and breathtaking graphic novel trilogy about a lost human girl, her fellow crew of Peacekeeper aliens, and their missions all across the galaxy — all while Ami tries to get back home to Earth and the mom and dog she left behind.  

In this session Frances will share her journey to becoming a graphic novelist.

This online event is held via Zoom. An access link will be delivered via email the day before the event, based on pre-registration by 5 PM on the previous day.
