Chair Dance

A chair is not just something you sit on. It's a dance partner, a stage, a support. In this class you will learn burlesque moves with and on a chair and how to put them together into a routine.. Over four classes we'll unfold the magic of performing burlesque with a simple piece of furniture.

Students should have taken Introduction to Burlesque or the equivalent. We will have chairs for you to use, but if you want to bring your own, it should be a sturdy metal folding chair.

This is a four-session course: Sundays, November 1, 8, 15, 22.  All classes are from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
Price: $120 for entire course.

Classes are taught at The Tony Williams Dance, Studio, Studio 1, 284 Amory St, 1st floor, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130
No street shoes are allowed in the studio.
