Chair | Fluro Lino Printing Workshop
Event description
To celebrate the opening of his exhibition Chair at NERAM, Jonathon Larsen is running a one-day workshop in the Museum of Printing.
Explore the colours of Post Pop styles and make a lino printed image of your favourite chair. Jonathon will guide participants through a range of materials, to prepare a colourful background, then carve, ink and print their own lino prints featuring an ordinary or extraordinary chair.
Participants are asked to bring along some images or ideas as a starting point, your favourite chair or a designer chair you have always dreamed of owning! These ideas will be developed to suit the lino printing process and you will have a number of finished artworks by the end of the day.
