Chairing & Facilitating 101 Workshop
Event description
This is a workshop for members of Youth Advisory Groups who want to get better at chairing and facilitating group meetings!
This workshop is delivered by the Youth Affairs Council of WA. We are being supported by the Department of Communities to help set up new YAGs across the state, as well as to upskill current YAGs to run the best that they can.
In this one-hour online workshop, we cover:
What is the role of a chair, and what does a good chair look like?
Tools and techniques to facilitate a group discussion
Tips for managing conflict in meetings
This is an opportunity for you to gain new skills, but also to share with other YAG members what works in your YAG, and what makes your YAG great!
This is a workshop for YAG members aged 12 to 25. It will be run over Microsoft Teams. The workshop is FREE but registration is essential.
