Event description

The guest speaker at Sydney Rotary Club's online meeting on Tuesday 6th October will be Kim Edwards, the World Bank's Senior Country Economist for the Pacific.

 He works closely with Pacific governments on policy issues related to macroeconomic management, economic growth, and building resilience to shocks. Kim has led budget support operations in Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu. 

Prior to working at the World Bank he spent close to a decade at the Reserve Bank of Australia, where he managed the International Finance and the Prices, Wages, and Labour units. He holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
