Description
Taupō Business Chamber's first-ever Golf Tournament.
Grab your team, clients or mates, get out of the office, and take on the rest of Taupō's business community for a day of golf, banter, and an epic trophy up for grabs.
We're playing Ambrose - so don't stress if you're not exactly Tiger Woods. It's about your team, not your handicap.
What's included
Golf on the Tauhara Course, goodie bag, drinks and nibbles on the day, and an awesome prize giving in the clubhouse to wrap it all up.
Give back on the green
Several of our hole sponsors are running their own fundraising activations across the course - raffles, spin-to-wins, gourment burgers - with 100% of proceeds going to a cause of their choosing. Keep some coins (or notes!) handy.
It's year one of what we hope becomes a Taupō tradition. Be there from the start.

- Can I sponsor a hole or the whole tournament?
Yes - hole sponsorship and naming rights aren't sold through this page as they need a bit more set up. Get in touch at info@taupochamber.co.nz and we'll chat!
- Can people who aren't playing join for prize giving?
Absolutely! If you've got team members or colleagues who can't make the golf but want to join for prize giving and drinks afterwards, get in touch and we'll sort you out.
- Do I need to be a good golfer? Or even have played golf before?
Nope!
We're playing Ambrose, which means the team plays their best shot each time, so one strong player can carry a team of enthusiastic beginners. It's about the team, not your handicap.
- What's included in my team entry?
Golf on the Tauhara Course, 2 drinks and nibbles on the day, a goodie bag, and prize giving at the clubhouse to finish.
- What time does it start and finish?
At this stage, we have a 12pm start, wrapping up around 7pm in the club house Subject to change.
- What's your refund policy?
Refunds available up to 30 September. After that we're locked in with the course for catering and prizes, so we're unable to refund, but happy to transfer your spot to someone else, just let us know.
