UPDATE!!!  Due to Level 4 lockdown and the challenges many families are currently facing, we will spend time discussing strategies on how to cope with recent changes and how to transition our kids back to school after lockdown.  If you have any specific questions please email us so that we can answer these within the workshop.

Children's Autism Foundation (now integrated with Autism New Zealand) presents "Dealing with Change & Transitions", a workshop for parents/caregivers, support workers, teachers, teacher aides and any professionals who engage with children and young people on the Autism Spectrum.

• Learn why change and transitioning is so difficult for a child with ASD
• Understand micro and macro changes and how they affect our kids
• Explore how the constant change we’ve experienced in 2020/21 has affected children
• Leave with practical tips & strategies to better support your child through the change and transitions in their life.

Plus plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the session.

NB: Does not cover transition to higher education or vocation (i.e aimed at school aged children only)

This live online workshop will answer your questions and provide you with knowledge & strategies to support children through the multitude of changes and transitions they face daily.

Facilitated by Jo Sutton
