Description

The world of change has changed

Organisations are no longer moving through neat, predictable stages of transformation. They are operating in environments that are complex, disrupted, fast moving and deeply human.  In this reality, change leadership can no longer rely only on plans, templates and implementation roadmaps. It requires new thinking, deeper courage, stronger sensemaking and the ability to create movement when certainty is no longer available.

A conference to explore change from new perspectives

The ACMP Tri Chapter Conference brings together leading voices from South Africa, Australia, Singapore and New Zealand to explore what change leadership must become now. This is a conference for professionals who are ready to move beyond managing change and start shaping the conditions for transformation that is adaptive, measurable, resilient and human centred.

Why the conference matters

Change professionals are being asked to lead through complexity, transformation fatigue, risk, uncertainty and rising expectations from people and organisations alike. This conference is designed to challenge old assumptions and open new possibilities. It will help participants rethink how change really happens, how people flourish through transformation, and how risk intelligence can become a powerful partner in building future ready organisations.

What will you take away?

  • You will leave with fresh ways to think about complexity, people centred transformation and risk intelligent change.

  • You will gain practical language, frameworks and perspectives that can be applied in real organisational settings.

  • You will connect with a global community of change professionals who are asking bigger questions about the future of the profession.

  • Most importantly, you will leave inspired to lead change with greater courage, clarity and impact.

Who Should Attend?

This conference is ideal for change managers, transformation leaders, organisational development professionals, HR leaders, risk professionals, project and programme leaders, consultants, coaches, executives and anyone responsible for helping organisations move through uncertainty and build what comes next.

The future will not wait for organisations to feel ready. Now is the time to rethink change, reconnect with purpose and reimagine what leadership can make possible.

Agenda

  • Leading Change in a Complex World: What Complexity Science Teaches Us About the Future of Change Management.

Dr Aiden Thornton invites participants into a powerful exploration of complexity science and what it teaches us about the future of change management. His session challenges traditional models and encourages change professionals to see organisations as complex adaptive systems where change emerges through dynamic interactions, not simply through controlled implementation plans. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of how to think systemically, influence organisational behaviour and lead change in conditions that are unpredictable, interconnected and constantly evolving.

  • Flourishing Individuals, Thriving Organisations (FITO): A Change Transformation Model with Measurable ROI

Sunil Hasmukharay introduces the FITO Model, Flourishing Individuals, Thriving Organisations, as a practical and measurable approach to transformation. His session shifts the conversation from fixing problems to unlocking human potential, showing how strengths, mindset, culture and readiness can become powerful drivers of organisational performance. This session will help participants understand how people centred change can deliver measurable business impact, and why flourishing is not a soft idea, but a serious transformation strategy.

  • Dancing with Disruption: Where Risk Intelligence Meets Change Leadership

Nicola Comninos and Thabile Nyaba explore the vital connection between risk intelligence and change leadership. Their session shows how future ready organisations can break down silos, build adaptive capacity, strengthen resilience and reposition risk and change as catalysts for confident, value creating business impact.
