Event description

Change is the only constant, and it feels like there’s a lot happening across the education sector right now. This workshop will explore how school leaders can lead change effectively by taking a set of guiding principles and applying them to your context, regardless of whether you are leading work in curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, pastoral care or any other aspect of schooling. We will explore topics including how to develop momentum for change, what different people require in order to come onboard with change; how to work with resistance to change and how to sustain change beyond an initial burst of activity.

About the facilitator:

Dr. Mark Osborne is the Director of Leading Learning and has been a teacher, school leader, consultant, author and speaker for almost thirty years. He has a PhD from the University of Melbourne in how to lead change in education, and has worked with schools and school districts throughout Australasia, North American, Europe and Asia. Mark is particularly passionate about future-focused education, innovative learning environments and educational leadership.
