Chanukah 2026: Havdallah + Healing Kirtan at Emanuel Synagogue
Description
Join us on Saturday 5 December at 8.38 pm as we mark the end of Shabbat with Havdallah and the lighting of the second Chanukah candle, followed by an uplifting evening of chant and song led by Rabbi George Mordecai, Nadav Kahn and Jessica Chapnik-Kahn.
No musical experience is needed, only a willingness to listen and to join in.
For those who’d like to arrive early, a light supper will be served from 7.30 pm in the David Constable Memorial Garden.
PAY WHAT YOU CAN
We want everyone to feel welcome at our events, whatever their circumstances. That’s why tickets for this evening are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, so cost is never a barrier to joining us as we welcome the second night of Chanukah together.
SECURITY
Heightened security measures will be in place, and you may be asked to present photo ID at the gate. We thank you for your patience and understanding as our dedicated guards work to keep our community safe.
