CHAOS Inc Caring for someone with a life limiting illness: community information series
Event description
The majority of us wish to die at home. Alongside our amazing health care workers, having a good death at home, also relies on family members, friends and sometimes community members being part of the journey.
For many in a caring role, this can sometimes feel like you are trying to navigate a maze without a map. There are many questions, and it's not always easy to find the answers. The Be the Ripple project aims to provide non medical support to people with a life limiting illness who wish to remain at home, and the people caring for them. We do this through providing practical support, information and community education on dying and death.
Join us for a series of free information sessions with opportunities for questions and additional information based on the needs of participants. Join in by yourself, with the person you are caring for, or with others you are caring with.
Each topic is offered at 1.30pm or 7pm on the same day and sessions run for 1.5 hours. You can book all six sessions, or the ones that interest you.
Sessions are offered using zoom and we can assist you to get set up.
