Something new is coming to Mayfield Estate this Great Eastern Wine Week — and things are about to get a little competitive.

Join us for the very first Chardonnay Cup, an afternoon of sheep racing, East Coast wine, live music, food and plenty of fun, all set against Mayfield Estate’s spectacular coastal backdrop.

The stars of the day will take to the field for a series of sheep races, with guests invited to pick their favourites and cheer them all the way to the finish line. Between races, settle in with a glass of Mayfield wine, grab something delicious from the food vans and enjoy live music from Tom Booth overlooking the vines and Great Oyster Bay.

And because every great race day needs a little style, we’re bringing Fashions on the Field to Mayfield. Think relaxed picnic-meets-polo — pull out your best whites, dress for a spring afternoon among the vines and come ready to impress.

There’ll also be raffles and prizes to be won throughout the day, plenty of space to settle in with friends and, naturally, Chardonnay flowing at the cellar door.

Come for the wine, stay for the races and soak up an afternoon that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
