Charities in times of crisis - surviving, striving or thriving?
Event description
AN IMPACT100 SA MEMBERS WEBINAR: Wednesday 1 July, 7pm - 8pm (ACST)
Everyone in our society has been impacted by the current Covid-19 pandemic, and none more than our charities and not-for-profit organisations, many of them struggling to survive.
Please join us for a free members’ webinar as we check-in with our Impact100 SA charity alumni to see how they have weathered the past tumultuous six months, following bushfires and the COVID-19 restrictions which has resulted in the cancellation of many of their operations and fundraising activities.
Hear from our past grant winners: Backpacks 4 SA Kids, KickStart for Kids, Operation Flinders, Puddle Jumpers, Youth Opportunities, and Zahra Foundation to find out how they have responded to the crisis, where they are now, lessons that are being learned and planning for the future.
Australian Communities Foundation CEO, Maree Sidey will also join us to talk about how COVID-19 has impacted philanthropic giving and the not for profit sector.
