Event description

With 2024 coming to a close, our beloved King Unicorn, director, Subsdance owner & general menace, Charlie, is stepping down from their role and starting their next journey. We can't let this occasion pass unnoticed, so join us for a Sunday afternoon with one last hoorah to say goodbye, close this chapter of Subsdance, and welcome in the next exciting adventure.

After the whirlwind that has been 2024, this event will be a bit different to our previous End Of Year Shows. Rather than a big theatre production, with stressful quick changes and the pressure of performing, we want to send it out from one of our home studios and get the chance to spend some time with our Subsdance Fam. Expect some pop up acts through the night from our top teams The Queenz, The Vaudevixens, SADA, and Tease De Resistance, as well as our guest of honour, Charlie, and Sunlight King Pascal and Moonlight Queen Lola. Fill the rest of the night with some dancing, mingling, and a cheeky drink or two, and we’re set up to send out 2024 with a bang!

Charlie has also decided that along with this big old boogie, they’re also going to set up a selection of their old costumes, props, and accessories for sale! Yep, you can get your very own piece of Charlie memorabilia - maybe an elegant robe for the stage, a tiny hat for the memories, or even a sequin dress to just pop down to the shops in. Come join us for the evening to see what’s on offer!

Bar on site!
Food available!

Please note that the ticket price is to help cover our admin & setup costs for the night. If you'd like to join us but this is a bit out of your budget right now, please send us a message on our socials or contact Charlie on 0477528026.

Subsdance humbly comes together on Ngunnawal land and acknowledge the First Nations and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
