Chasing Crows: An LCC Bike Ride Through Portland
Description
A murder of crows. A gang of lesbians on bicycles. A Saturday well spent.
Portland has a few unusual visitors in town, and we're going to find them.
Join LCC member and longtime Portland cyclist Gail for a leisurely ride inspired by the mysterious crow installations appearing around the city for the upcoming film Wildwood.
We'll meet at the Broadway Bridge crow and make our way toward the St. Johns Library crow, covering approximately 10 miles at a comfortable, social pace. Along the way, expect a little Portland sightseeing, some fresh air, and excellent company.
Afterward, we'll head to El Burrito Azteca for lunch, conversation, and a well-earned burrito.
Whether you're a regular cyclist or simply looking for a different way to spend your Saturday, come along for the ride.
A few things to know:
Bring your own bicycle and helmet.
The ride is approximately 10 miles and will take 1–1.5 hours, depending on the group's pace.
Lunch is optional and purchased individually.
The Follow the Crows app is available for $1.50, with proceeds supporting Doernbecher Children's Hospital, according to the event organizer.
This is a weather-dependent outing. We'll confirm plans if heavy rain is expected.
Free to join. Good company included.
