Chats for the Goals: Extreme Weather Disaster Simulation
Event description
Across the world, rising global temperatures are having a catastrophic effect and driving changing weather patterns. Extreme weather events such as heatwaves, bushfires, droughts, severe storms and cyclones are becoming more frequent and severe. These events often result in significant human, economic and environmental loss.
This group-based activity will provide an opportunity to participate in a table-top simulation informed by real life events. Participants will respond to rapidly unfolding climate driven emergencies and consider how they would support affected individuals and communities.
