About your presenter Mitchell Brennan

Mitchell Brennan with White's Seahorse

I am currently completing my PhD at the University of Technology Sydney. I am passionate about the conservation of threatened marine species and the restoration of marine habitats and ecosystems. I am particularly interested in the unique family of fishes, Syngnathidae, which includes seahorses, sea dragons and pipefish. My PhD research is focused on the conservation of the Endangered White’s seahorse, Hippocampus whitei, including leading a conservation-stocking program and facilitating habitat provision and restoration.
