Event description

Around the world, valuable nutrients are flushed away every day. This talk explores how we can recover and reuse nutrients from human waste to produce safe, sustainable fertilisers that support food production while protecting our environment. Through innovations in toilet design, treatment technologies, and social engagement, the NiCE Project is driving change toward a circular sanitation economy. Join the talk to discover how “waste” can be redefined as a valuable resource for agriculture, climate resilience, and community wellbeing.
