ChatterBook: Soil - the incredible story of what keeps the earth, and us, healthy

Matthew Evans, the author of Soil, has written a love letter to Mother Earth.  As a successful farmer in southern Tasmania, he knows a thing or two about what it takes to produce healthy crops and to keep paddocks sustainable under grazing conditions.

Kate, our volunteer reader/discussion leader for this session, is a local farmer who is also passionate about healthy soil and revegetation.  She will share her learnings from Matthew Evans’ book, as well as her local experience with putting into practice some of these ideas.  The discussion might cover issues such as:

• What does regenerative agriculture look like on (or under!) the ground?

• How can we build healthy soil in our small home gardens or our rural properties?

How does ChatterBook work? Each session, one or two people lead a discussion about a selected book.  Other attendees are welcome, but not required, to also read the book.  Or you might have read articles or listened to podcasts on the topic under discussion in that session.
