Checklist Legal turns 5: Five years of contract design adventures

Checklist Legal started with a simple idea: contracts shouldn’t get in the way of people doing great work.

Since then, we’ve had the chance to work with brilliant clients and collaborators who had the same inkling that contracts could be better and, particularly in the early days, take a bit of a chance on doing contracts differently.

So let's celebrate! Partly a 5th birthday, but mostly a thank you and a chance to eat some delicious food, catch up with friends and meet some excellent people from across the legal, contracting and business community.

What to expect

We’ll keep the formalities short and leave plenty of time to relax, catch up and meet some excellent people from across the legal, contracting and business community.

Meet your host

Verity is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Law, a LUMA Institute certified Human Centred Design practitioner, and Chief Contract Enthusiast at her B Corp certified law firm,  Checklist Legal where she and her team specialise in human-centred contract operations.

Verity is the author of Create Contracts Clients Love and an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne where she taught Contract Design for Automation .
