Event description

This lecture on Drivers of Reactions will cover new concepts that help explain whether or not certain reactions take place. 
During this workshop we will be covering:

  • Enthalpy of formation calculations.
  • Change in Enthalpy and Hess's Law.
  • Activation Energy, Catalysts and the effects of temperature. 
  • Entropy and Gibb's free energy  
  • Thermodynamics, which deals with the laws that govern the movement of heat and energy
  • All Resources including PowerPoints and questions will be available for later use.
