Chihuly Nights
Event description
Journey through an enchanting garden as soaring glass sculptures take on a mesmerising new light at this once-in-a-lifetime event.
As the sun sets on an enchanting garden, discover soaring sculptures by the world’s most celebrated contemporary glass artist, Dale Chihuly.
From the setting sun to the artwork's dramatic nighttime lighting, witness how the changing light lends new dimensions to the playful, vibrant artworks.
The trail of 15 installations and monumental sculptures – inspired by the natural world - will take you on a journey through the beautiful landscapes of Adelaide Botanic Garden and to its majestic glass buildings.
Included in your Chihuly Nights ticket, explore the rainforest conservatory during the evening, where an additional collection of works can be found nestled in the lush botanical setting.
In this exhibition, learn more about the world-renowned Seattle-based artist, as well as the thriving glass art scene in Adelaide and how the two cities are linked by this exquisite art-form.
Head to the heart of the garden to enjoy live music and something delicious to eat and drink from award-winning caterers. Located on the Schomburgk Pavilion, you’ll find the action overlooking the delightful Mediterranean Garden, where a magnificent sculpture is suspended above.Â
