    Join us to hear from some wonderful speakers: 

    Ben Harm and Grant Clayton: Think U Know

      • ThinkUKnow Australia is an evidence-based education program led by the Australian Federal Police (AFP), delivered nationally in partnership with police and industry partners to prevent online child sexual exploitation. The program is pro-technology and addresses topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, image-based abuse, sexual extortion, and importantly encourages help seeking behaviour.

      Loretta Stumer: Ways to Wellness

      • Ways to Wellness is a free service provided by the Mt Gravatt Community Centre to members of our community aged sixteen and above. The program aims to end social isolation through a social prescribing network. 

      Rachelle Riley: Department of Child Safety Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs.

      • Rachelle will be discussing how we can support children/young people with diverse sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGIE).

      Tania Felstead- Red Rose Foundation

      • The Red Rose Foundation­ is a national not for profit charity who works to address the damaging impact of domestic violence across our communities. They are especially concerned at the high number of domestic violence related deaths that occur each year through homicide and suicide. They also acknowledge that tragically, many of these domestic violence related deaths have many predictive elements and are largely considered preventable. Tania will introduce Red Rose and the Strangulation Trauma Centre, and discuss high risk/high harm domestic and family violence.
